Developing Tropical Low

The town of Port Hedland @ 0900hrs today 9th January has been placed on Cyclone Watch for a developing tropical low that current sits in the North Kimberley.

The system is tracking WSW and is expected to develop into cyclone intensity sometime on Wednesday/Thursday. The Bureau of Meteorology is advising that there is a significant risk of a severe category tropical cyclone impacting the northern WA coast on friday
