SES volunteers / Teachers are running the free education program

In this section you’ll find resources for use in the classroom. This includes complete lesson plans as well as activities, fact sheets and external resources that you can use to adapt lessons to suit your students.

If you are interested in finding out local information about natural hazards and the role of Western Australia SES, you can contact community education staff at any of the SES regional offices using our Contact page.

Free education programs delivered at your school

SES volunteers are running a free education program for West Australian primary schools. The interactive presentations cover the topics of floods, storms or how to prepare for emergencies. With strong AusVELS connections, the presentations are tailored to different age groups and run for approximately 30-45min.
