It takes thousands of dedicated Western Australia State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers from across the state to provide emergency assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Enquire about volunteering
There are two ways to enquire about volunteering:
- Find your local unit using the map on this page, then click the link in the popup to fill out the online enquiry form.
- Call Hedland SES Unit (08 9160 1300) Calls made during business hours might be be connected to your local SES office.
Once you have registered with us, we’ll put you in touch with a representative from your local SES unit who can tell you more about becoming a volunteer.
